There's a deep longing
Inside of me
Something I cannot fathom
Nor comprehend
I see you whenever I
Close my eyes
In my dreams, when I awake
I long to see you, to
Feel your touch
Once again
To see you smile upon me
To hold your gaze
My heart misses you so
Your lips so sweet
So bitter this separation
This longing I cannot stand
What I would give
To have you
Again for a moment
Then for a lifetime
